I've been working on a Gentoo install for the past few days and it's really been an enlightening experience. And I'm not sure if I mean that in a good or a bad way. It's hard to tell. One thing that I really hate is that if I even happen to look the wrong way at the kernel, my internet breaks, and that means I have to recompile the kernel, which is a real bitch. Also, gdm likes to act up and go all crazy every once in a while, which probably wouldn't be so obnoxious if that means I can only really use one login screen, and really, where's the fun in that?
All in all, I'm really digging it, because I'm weird like that. Expect screenshots soon, after I beat something into submission.
Also a very happy birthday to my beta/partner-in-crime/friend-type-person tatooine! I have nothing to give (yet, anyway), but ask, and hopefully, you shall receve (if things don't turn out absolutely crap with my computer).
