I'm not sure how much either of us got out of that conversation, mostly because Twitter is a great place for talking about breakfast foods and terrible place to have a conversation that involves multiple sentences at a time.
For those of you who are not me or merisunshine36, it's a delightful, funny little rant about why programming is terrible and why software in particular is notoriously difficult to work with. It sort of veers into 'we few, we happy few, we band of brothers' territory towards the end, but I think overall, it's not so much about programmers in particular so much as it is about infrastructure. And how it sucks. And how we're pretty lucky that the internet hasn't fallen over yet. Seriously.
